- Location: The Mulgrave river at the bottom of the Gillies Highway.

9am Mountain View Hotel, this side of the Little Mulgrave River.
(Depart The Chambers by 8.20 am to allow sufficient time for you to drive to pickup
point).

- Wilderness Canoeing in fun two-person canoes allows you to discover the tropical
rainforest that surrounds the Mulgrave River.
- You canoe through vine forests past towering strangler figs, rare ferns, and a great
variety of wildlife.
- The pace of the river is perfect for allowing you to relax and see beautiful birds such
as kookaburras, kingfishers, parrots, herons and orioles.
- Tortoises, eels, lizards,
wallabies and a host of magnificently coloured butterflies can be seen.
- In some areas, the river runs a little faster and small rapids are present, which will
undoubtedly add to the excitement of your day.
- The guides on each tour give detailed lectures on safety, paddling, and manoeuvring
your
canoe, allowing beginners to feel more confident and relaxed on the tour.
- Morning tea, lunch and all safety equipment is included in the tour cost.
